Our Expertise and Experience

MCTC can assist in the start up and running of clinical trials of advanced therapies.  

The MCTC team has experience in: 

• Regulation of advanced therapy trials, including the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator, Institutional Biosafety Committee, and the TGA’s CTA/CTN Scheme 

• Budgeting for advanced therapy trials 

• Preparation of ethics applications for advanced therapy trials 

• Preparation of RGO application for advanced therapy trials 

• Start-up of advanced therapy trials, including negotiation with supporting department declarations. 

MCTC coordinators and nurses can be engaged to work on advanced therapy trials, and have prior experience in advanced therapy trials. 

Melbourne Children's Campus staff are experienced in the handling of advanced therapy products, including GMOs.
